Instructors are paid to support rising high school seniors as they set their personalized goals for future success and lead them through experiential learning activities focused on building social-emotional learning and cognitive skills and competencies.
Applicants should be experienced teachers and/or counselors who can work 30 hours per week for six weeks from June to August.
Mentors – Mark Cuban AI Bootcamp
Mentors for the Mark Cuban Foundation AI Bootcamp guide high school students from the Pittsburgh region through lessons and projects that build their skill set in artificial intelligence and machine learning. We look for volunteers who enjoy learning about artificial intelligence and can support students throughout the bootcamp that is held over four Saturday sessions. Mentors are expected to work for five hours during each Saturday session and to attend a training with the Mark Cuban AI Foundation team.
The Readiness Institute at Penn State hosts the bootcamp annually in partnership with the Mark Cuban AI Foundation in the Energy Innovation Center in Pittsburgh.
We are not seeking mentors for this program at this time. Check back in August for open mentor positions for the 2022 Mark Cuban AI Bootcamp.
