As another year of the Readiness Institute Summer Program comes to a close, there are 64 new agents of change ready to go back to their schools and communities — to be better learners, to be effective leaders, and to make an impact on the future.
During the penultimate week of the Readiness Institute 2023 Summer Program, learners in Pittsburgh and Central PA got the opportunity to hear about careers and insights in a range of industries, including artificial intelligence, health care, media, business, and more.
This week brought out the creative and entrepreneurial sides of learners in Pittsburgh while Central PA groups focused on financial literacy skills.
How does SpongeBob SquarePants make sure he’s investing in businesses without getting fooled by greenwashing? That’s one fictional situation a group of Summer Program learners created this week to help explain a lesson in sustainable investing.
Summer Program learners came back ready to learn and lead in week two. The Pittsburgh cohorts focused on digital transformation, while Central PA learners explored social-emotional learning — two topics with a growing significance in our world today.
