This virtual workshop is open to 2024 Summer Discovery learners.
Deyo Olorunnisola, director of admissions of the Schreyer Honors College at Penn State, will help you start thinking about your college essay and equip you with tips and tricks for improving it. You will also have the opportunity to “be an admissions counselor,” reading application essays from past years and discussing whether you would/wouldn’t accept the applicant and why.
We encourage all Summer Discovery participants to join us for this workshop — regardless of what schools you’re applying to — as this will help you learn how to write a stronger, more unique essay!
